    Legend of the Seeker

    Wednesday, June 16, 2010, 09:04 PM [General]

    Hello everyone!

I need your help. One of my favorite shows, Legend of the Seeker has apparently been cancelled. This is actually a good show. Yes, it has its melodramatic moments and plot lines that you can decipher a mile away, but that is beside the point. It has a very talented group of actors/actresses, stunt men/women, ETC. And let's face it, it is so much better than all the train-wreck reality TV that's out there. (Honestly, I do not want to keep up with the Kardashians, and Bethany may be getting married, but we all know it will wind up in divorce anyway).

So, I am here to ask for your help in signing an online petition in order to save this show. Please sign it! There are 50,000 required signatures, with approximately 21,000 more to collect. Even if you don't like the show sign it. You still have the free will enough not to watch it if you don't like it.

If the petition succeeds hopefully they will air it at a different time on a more mainstream channel. (4 pm Saturdays on WGN) Most of us are at a Faire at that time anyway.

And to end, and sound very melodramatic.... Keep the legend alive!!Muahahaha!

Please leave your virtual John Hancock here.....

Thank you so very very much!

    Garb for Sale

    Thursday, April 16, 2009, 10:15 PM [General]

I have a few pieces of garb in my closet that I no longer wear and have decided to sell.

All the pieces are from Odd Bodkin. There are pictures of the pieces in my photo gallery.

None of these pieces are too fancy, but they're great beginner pieces and good for giving another piece of garb a new look!

Burgundy Corduroy Maiden bodice, no ducktail, size medium silver grommets, black bias. $10

Teal/green Corduroy Brigantine bodice, no ducktail, size medium, silver grommets, black bias, $10

Seafoam and gold brocade Ducchess bodice, size medium, black grommets and bias tape. $10.

Tan/Beige paisley maiden bodicem, size medium, black bias tape and grommets, no ducktail. $10

Black and White 8 panel Harlequin skirt with alternating black and white bias tape. size large (only worn to try on. it's way too long for me and I'm too lazy to fix it :) ). $20

Gold split sleeve chemise with navy bias tape, size large/one size fits most. $15

Green with christmas tree bloomers, ankle length, size medium. $5

Prices do not include the shipping.

Buy all of them for $70 plus shipping. Prices are negotiable! But all sales are final.

I think I got the prices correct in this blog and the gallery, if there is a discrepency we'll use the lowest price of course!

Money order payment only please :)

I do have 3 dogs and 2 cats, but I will clean each piece before they are sent out. All the pieces are gently used and in good condition. The bodices will include all their laces.

Please conctact me through renspace if you have any questions.

    *sigh*

    Wednesday, March 18, 2009, 10:19 PM [General]

Well, my winter quarter at school just ended, and not a moment too soon. I'm starting to get tired of this "going to school" "thing". It's very stressful and there's not a lot of return for your efforts. But, what I think hen it comes to school, so, I gotta go -_-

I am so ready for faire season around here. I'm running on empty. I need a faire fix SO BAD. I'm ready to forsake school and run off and join the circus. Who's with me?!?!

It's been fairly stressful lately; school, no income, my cousin was in a car wreck and now he's paralyzed (no seatbelt, flung from car after it flipped), and his father is a controlling prick, etc. etc. The break from school, though it is only a week, will be greatly appreciated. Then it's back to another 11 weeks of torment. I'm gonna shoot for all A's, which I did this quarter, but that didn't work out as planned :(

I am going to hang out with my friend tomorrow and friday and saturday, so that ought to be fun! Joanns all the way!!!

For those of you where faire season has started already, I envy you, yet hope it is wonderful. For those of you where faire season has not started, please wallow in misery with me.

For all of you, good night, be safe. (and if you're driving BUCKLE-THE-F***-UP!)

thank you for listening to me rant. :D

    summer classes

    Wednesday, June 18, 2008, 09:45 AM [General]

Why did I sign up for summer classes? in addition, they're accelerated, they're only 7 weeks instead of 10. Kinda like a 2 pound box with four pounds of shite in it. Blargh. I've already read 3 chapters this week, and I need to read 4 more (i'm trying to work ahead), I need to take 3 or 4 quizzes, do like 6 assignments, and choose a final project for 2 classes. and there's also 3 or 4 discussion forums that I have to post my thoughts and answers in for the reading. NEVER AGAIN am I signing up for summer classes. I'm going to take my 12 weeks off and enjoy it. luckily, the teachers seem like they know what they're talking about so far, and they are willing to help and explain things if you need them too. Anywho, back to work. Wish me luck! :)
